The Scarecrow motion-detecting sprinkler system
Perhaps killing two birds with one stone isn't the best euphemism for the Scarecrow motion-activated sprinkler,
since it will probably most appeal to animal lovers who abhor the whole electric yard-fence thing. Well, those guys and
your particularly harmless antisocial neighbors who just don't realize that a little water just isn't going to keep
those pesky kids from leaving flaming bags of dung on your doorstep. But at least this may put the bag out for
you.

How come all the pictures are fake? No real product testimony...but I think it looks fun to play with :)

Yes I have to agree. You'd think that one of their techs would have hooked a camera to the system for some real shots of it in action during development.
Photoshopped shots don't inspire confidence in the product.
However there is something very funny about those photos. Run forest (animals) run!

This isn't new at all. I remember seeing this around 5 yrs ago . . . must be a slow week.

I've been using one of these to keep my neighbours cats out of my Koi pond for a year or more. It's very effective and entertaining at the same time - what more could you want?

hook it up to a shotgun and you'll have a real deterrent.

So that's what MS Research has been up to...

Use one of these in the back yard to protect the Koi. The trees blowing in the wind set it off and the dog likes to play with it. A little bit of a hassle, but it works as intended.
