Dell LP 1100 printer reviewed by PC Mag

We received a lot of feedback when Dell announced the $99 LP 1100 laser printer last month — much of it at least a little negative. Now we've seen one of the first hands-on reviews of the printer, and it turns out that at least one critic likes the printer. PC Magazine says the budget laser "delivers respectable performance, excellent text quality, and better-looking graphics than most monochrome lasers at any price." Of course, you'll still end up paying about $65 per cartridge each time you refill this, but PC Mag points out that this works out to about 3.2 cents per page, which is in line with other low-end lasers.
