Portectorz save PowerBook ports from damage

Apple's industrial designers may think the exposed ports on the side of every iBook and Powerbook are a better alternative than doors that can snap off — or mar the laptops' sleek lines — but users (especially those who actually travel with their computers) know better. So, the new Portectorz, which are basically thin silicone strips designed to snap over the ports, seems like an ideal accessory. And the price of $19.95 to $23.95, depending on model, seems like a much better deal than paying Apple to repair a USB port that somehow got bent out of shape when it impacted with those keys you stashed in your laptop bag.
