DirecTV adds NFL in HD

I'm a Dish Network subscriber, so this one really ticks me off. I won't hold it against you if you went with DirecTV; in fact, I'll even share the good news. DirecTV is adding an option to the very popular NFL Sunday Ticket package. For an additional $99, DirecTV provides their "Super Fan" features.

"Super Fan" gives you up to eight games on a single screen, game highlights on the Red Zone Channel, condensed games on Short Cuts and, most importantly, more than 100 games in HD. DirecTV is already getting close to $300 for ther regular NFL Sunday Ticket, so this package brings you closer to $400.

We say: save your money. You can usually catch three HD games every Sunday via free over-the-air (OTA) signals. It's not just because we have Dish and we're bitter. Ok, maybe just a little bitter, but then again, we're watching NFL in HD for zip!
