XM unveils Delphi RoadyXT and Audiovox Xpress Radio
Looks like XM dropped some new Holiday 2k5
offerings today (their press event was apparently named Christmas in
August—good one, guys), including the new super tiny
Delphi
RoadyXT and its slightly fuglier cousin, the
Audiovox Xpress Radio. Both will be available in September for under a hundred bucks (read: $99.99), and will give you
all that digital radio goodness you like plus FM transmitter, but sans time-shifting.

Actually, both receivers will have built-in FM transmitters that will work anywhere on the FM dial, as opposed to the current offerings that only transmit in the 88 and 106/107 MHz ranges.
Also announced yesterday at the XMas in August event, Belkin will be making both a boombox and portable kit for the RoadyXT. XM411 has pictures of the newly announced receivers, a side-by-side comparison, and photos of other new stuff that didn't get press announcements, namely a couple of new Connect-and-Play radios.
Michael,
Thanks, but I couldn't confirm the FM from the press materials. I'll look into it.
Best,
Ryan
