The Weird-7 DIY robot kit

You know, for a wide variety of reasons Weird-7 is a rather appropriate name for this build-your-own robot kit, not the least of which being that even though it's only 14-inches and doesn't look like it's got a whole lot special going on, yet it costs about $350 US. That and the fact that its design was apparently inspired by a dipping bird. And the googley eyes.

That thing is creepy a hell. It looks like they wanted it to appeal to kids to get them interested but I think it would scare most of them, eh?

Is it just me, or does his head REALLY look phallic. I mean, come on. Looking at the pictures, I guess his, err, head swings back and forth when he walks.
