Recycle that shower water
Water purification is some surprisingly disgusting and resource-intensive business, believe it or not. So recycling used water in the home not only carries the principal benefits of saving energy and reducing water consumption, but Peter Brewin's eco-shower system throws in a few neat little additions to help you forget that water isn't the only thing that goes down shower drains. Namely a pause button if the shower is too cold (or, we presume, hot), a water usage meter (ala hybrid cars), and a chlorine filter. How about a fixture that makes the water auto-soapy, too, so we don't have to lather up anymore, eh?
