Samsung + B&O to make a fashionphone
We'd say Samsung's always had a penchant for the stylish, so it doesn't come as any huge surprise that they've signed on with Danish gadget stylemaker Bang & Olufsen to do a high-end cellphone for this year. No, it's not exactly as groundbreaking as Apple + Moto doing their thing, but they do apparently want to keep the phone simple, stripped down, and easy to use—which apparently means no 3G. Man, does B&O ever love to stick it to their customers with pretense, or what?

I like it... I would buy it... would look hot in my office next to my PC...
I´m sorry to see that B&O still sets Form over Function. They´ve been doing it for years now and I´m quite fed up with it. It´s sad because they make very good audio products, but the design...It´s just like Nokia...
Could it be any more phallic?
You must belong to what is known as "mass market"
You laugh at me because I'm different, I laugh at you because you're all the same.
The phone pictured is the Beocom 2, NOT the phone that the article is talking about. the pictured phone, fantastic I might add, is a 2 line cordless for the home or office.
If this phone vibrates it might put a certain other "gadget" out to pasture.
I'm pretty sure this was used in one of the fake Loch Ness monster pictures.
I've wanted one of those Beocom 2 for a while.
Anyway, it always seems that these super high-end phones always lack lots of features.
Remember the Vertu phones? And now these?

Elaborate..
will look great next to my ps3 controller
Looks like a futuristic-retro gear shifter..
This is the same phone that Gram Norton used in his show on Comedy Central last year. Intresting...
The phone in the photo is a BeoCom2. I think that is just for reference and not the actual phone in the works.
If they manage to make a simple, no gadgets in a very cool an slim design I will buy it yesterday. I hate all this phones with so many functions; games, cameras, movie player, tasteless ringtones, etc that I never use, at the end I only use it to make a phone call, strange eh? If they just figure a way for the calls not to brake that would be a killer app. Ah and a ringtone that resembles a phone ring and not a taxi from Thailand. that's it, No config anything, just turn it on and talk. I dream the impossible
They will let Samsung do the software and mayority of the inside of the phone and B&O will bring the ICEpower technology and the sweet design. Simple is a word that can defined in many ways
Hi,
did you guys NOT get it? The phone on the picture - as said above - ist just an old Beocom 2 whicht exists vor years on the market!
It is NOT the new phone!
READ and then post :-)

wow, a kindrid spirit, finally. how bleeding difficult would it be to get a nicely designed, minimalistic phone a la the razr, with a contact list, text messaging, and buttons somewhere.
Inspired by Hitler.
He only had one you know
