Panasonic ToughBooks get Sprint EV-DO
So Panasonic is next in the long line of device makers announcing cellular wireless data on their laptops, but the first we know of to make official their intentions for integrated use of Sprint's forthcoming EV-DO network. You'll be able to pick up wireless broadband in their rugged Toughbook CF-18 and CF-29 and semi-rugged CF-73 laptops with an embedded Sierra Wireless EM5625 module, allowing more adventurous users to stay connected to the Sprint network even under the harshest conditions (providing the network stays up, natch).

Didn't realize Sprint offered service in Somalia and Iraq! Oh right, maybe it's for my harsh DC environment jostling for position on the Metro or using the laptop as a shield against determined panhandlers. ;)
