Boostaroo Revolution mini amplifier
The UpBeat Audio Boostaroo Revolution (if you're going to name something, might as well go all the way, right?) is a mini amplifier for your portable audio device with two headphone jacks to help you share your music without taking a hit in volume. The Revolution also simulates 3-channel surround sound so you should get a bit more definition in those snazzy headphones or mini speakers that require this kind of amplification. The other application is obviously volume — unless of course you enjoy hearing people shout obscenities into their cellphone on the subway. The mini amp is pretty dang portable at six ounces and around the size of a lighter; it runs on two AAA batteries and goes for $80.
