PC Mag wraps up CEATEC show
Plenty of good pics and buzzphrases over at PC Magazine on the CEATEC show that's wrapping up. Here's one of a HomePlug HDTV device prototype. We've touched upon most of the highlights that PC Mag is summarizing, but in case you missed them:
1080p is the big buzzword; watch for a Panasonic 65-inch set next month in Japan.
Lower power is in with some PDPs consuming less juice then LCDs.
Blu-Ray and HD-DVD folks are still racing with other, but some folks are betting on both.
Surface-conduction electron-emitter displays (SED) are gorgeous and will start shipping next year.
