Oct 8: What's on HDTV today

High Def Rocks!!!

What we're watching
:

This is a no-brainer for us. We're watching NBC re-broadcast "My Name is Earl" because they're showing all three recent episodes for this season. It's a quick way to get caught up if you haven't seen the show, so tune in to NBC at 8:30 p.m. for the first of three episodes.

In case you missed it, episode three (at 9:30 p.m.) has the infamous HDTV Easter Egg. Watch the left side of your screen at around the 5:34 mark of the show for the "High Def Rocks!!!" sign.

If you were looking for any new HDTV programming, don't look too long. ABC and CBS are repeating a bunch tonight too.

After the jump is our traditional listing of HD programs throughout the night.
