Marantz OPSODIS ES-150 virtual surround
Ok, so Marantz had a different idea for virtual surround in their ES-150 that didn't involve headphones or bouncing
sound off walls—their OPSODIS (OPtimal SOurce DIStribution) Technology, developed at Southampton University with the
Kajima Corporation, shoots 5.1 atcha by way of specially angled drivers in the speaker cab. T@H argues that even though
you need to sit in the "sweet spot" for it to work properly, that's still not really any diff from other surround sound
system, so you should just suck it up and plunk down the $3200 for it.

For that kind of money, I would expect an array of laser pointers that would project a square exactly where the "sweet spot" zone is.
WHAT! 3200 for something that is not even true surround? Thanks but I think I'm more than happy with my Logitech Z5500D...
Logitech vs. Marantz? AND YOU PICK LOGITECH?! YOU CRACKPOT SON OF A BITCH!
Go buy some Bose speakers :P.
