37-inch TVs had biggest price drop last month
We all know that the prices of flat panel TVs are dropping. They have kind of slowed down in the plasma segment but LCDs just keep on sliding down. They are over supplied and just not selling. According to WitsView the 37-inch LCD panels dropped the most last month by a total of 15%. We already know that LG.Philips is trying to standardize large panel sizes and they posted losses due to lower prices just last week.
It seems that those manufacturers that are banking on plasmas (except Pioneer) are doing just fine now with lower prices and a bunch of new sales.
