Oct 27: What's on HDTV today

Got Klowns?

What we're watching
:

More spooky high-def is on the schedule tonight, starting at 6:45 p.m. I know: just what you need after dinner, right? Tune in to Monsters-HD for a 1080i presentation of "The Evil Dead." This wasn't a box-office smash in 1982, so don't look for sequels like "The Not So Bad Dead" or "The Just Plain Mean Dead."

If you're in the mood for a spooky-spoof, don't touch your dial (does anyone still use a dial?) because "Killer Klowns from Outer Space" follows at 8:15 p.m., also in 1080i. If the thought of clowns reminds you of "It" from Stephen King, turn on all of the lights in your house and tune in to TNT-HD instead. Starting at 7:30 p.m., they have back-to-back NBA Basketball Exhibition games in 1080i. Gee, weren't we just watching baseball?

After the jump is our traditional listing of HD programs throughout the night.
