Xbox 360 Lounge opens in Tokyo
The "Xbox 360 Lounge" opened in Tokyo yesterday, with a small press event held by Microsoft involving some minor Japanese celebrities (such as Yumiko Shaku, the voice actor for Joanna Dark in the Japanese version of Perfect Dark). The Xbox 360 Lounge itself features 256 square meters of event space, a 200-inch screen, an "Xbox 360 Touch & Try Corner," a faceplate design display area, and even a small shop where you can pick up various Xbox 360 branded items. The lounge area offers a number of Xbox 360 related foodstuffs such as what you see in the image, as well as free WiFi access. The Xbox 360 is set for a December 10th launch in Japan; let's hope this lounge brings some much-needed attention to Xbox line over there. Get to the lounge quickly, though, because it will be closing forever on January 15th of next year. Also keep an eye out for the Xbox-themed mixed drinks: "Emerald X" and "Green Illusion."
