Hotel HD On Demand with the nPVR

HDTV. IPTV. VOD. EPG. nPVR. Ok, now that I've gotten the acronyms out of the way lets talk about what it means. KoolConnect Technologies and InfoValue Computing have developed a system for recording high definition TV to a server (the networked PVR, nPVR), then using Internet Protocol TV (IPTV) to create streaming channels for hotel guests who can then rewind and fast forward through the programming as they choose.

Basically, you can check in to your luxury hotel suite and be able to catch that high definition episode of Lost no matter what time it is. It will be interesting to see if the networks have any issues with someone recording and then redistributing their content this way.
