Motorola announces pink and blue RAZRs

Motorola also officially announced the pink and blue versions of the RAZR V3, too (what, somebody have some kids or something?). We're kind of wavering on the assertion that it's the "first choice for a select group of fashion elite and Hollywood 'it' girls," as they so claim (last we heard, Paris rocked a BlackBerry, Treo, and/or Sidekick upon various sightings), but it should be available to us lowly proletariats before 2006 rolls around.
We have had these in the U.K. for some time
*yawn* That's nice.. although I was over the RAZR about 6 months ago. MOTO.. slow an behind the game.. as usual.
Rogers in Canada is offering the pink one as some sort of tie-in with a Breast Cancer charity.
Smart on Moto's part though; it's simple as hell to offer more colours, and it most definitely will sell more phones.
We've had the pink Razr's here in Canada for the better part of a month. And they're for a good cause

Too right - my girlfriend wanted one as soon as she saw it (which was over a month ago in the UK)... we went into [a generic mobile phone store] when it was released, and i'm not kidding, we were about 4th in line behind other women all getting one of these!
yeah, these have been here in the uk for a little while. not that i would ever have a pink phone or n e thing....

I thought you said 'pink' and 'blue' not 'fuschia/magenta' and 'teal/turquoise'

Anyone know if its possible to paint a silver RAZR another color. Say orange or purple?
Umm... Nice, but pink doesn't seem to be pink but magenta and the blue is kinda like a silverish blue. Hipper colors like glossy white and Ferrari red would had been better choices.
Andrew I don't see why not. Use something like plasti-prep and plasti-coat to do it. But it'd probably be cheaper just to pick up 3 covers (chose your colors) for $8.99 on ebay + $1.00 shipping.
I don't even know if we have these in the U.S. yet but I want one and its PINK!! what could be better!? Bules good too.

The PINK RAZR is available from T-Mobile, but if you're currently a T-mobile subscriber, then you'll have to pay a hefty $350 for a pink razr that is LOCKED TO THE T-MOBILE NETWORK.
If you're on Cingular, thne you won't be able to buy a T-moible pink razr and use it with your service. The best bet is to buy an unlocked version.
