Nov. 8: What's on HDTV today

Big & Rich

What we're watching
:

Since Fox was carrying the World Series, they moved "Bones" back a few weeks; I've only caught one episode, so I'll tune in at 8 p.m. and give the show another chance in 720p. Following "Bones", we'll skip over to NBC for (what else?) "My Name Is Earl" in 1080i at 9 p.m. Ya never know when one of those HD Easter Eggs are going to hatch, right?

Since we're not allowed to channel surf too much in my house, I'll stay put at 9:30 p.m. and watch "The Office" on NBC in 1080i. In fact, I'll make it an NBC trifecta and stay up for Jay Leno at 11:35 p.m. in 1080i. Where else can you see diverse guests such as Martha Stewart and country music artists Big & Rich on the same stage in high-def?

After the jump is our traditional listing of HD programs throughout the night.
