Nov.17: What's on HDTV today

Howard Stern

What we're watching:

I'm out late tonight to a concert but I'm hoping to be back in time for "Late Night with David Letterman" at 11:35 p.m. on CBS. Tonight's 1080i broadcast may cause you to switch to the SD feed on the show. Why? One of the guests is one of those folks that should not be seen in HDTV: Howard Stern. Sure, the guy is hysterical, but c'mon: do you think he's up there as one the best looking folks in high-definition? I'll tune in and see how the HD cameras treat him.

If you can't wait up for me, tune in to INHD2 at 8 p.m. for a 1080i documentary. "Discoveries...America: Louisiana" is rather timely as this episode focuses on the New Orleans that we all knew and loved just a few short months ago. You'll see a high-def tour that you sadly can't see in person any longer.

After the jump is our traditional listing of HD programs throughout the night.
