Starting Saturday, Vodafone Japan will sell the new Sharp (2G) entertainment handset with integrated analog TV tuner and recorder. This sleek looking flip hosts a 3.2 megapixel shooter with 2x optical zoom and autofocus, and also features a 2.4-inch 240x320 pixel rotating LCD display, minSD slot (32MB included), music player with AAC and SD-Audio MP3 support, and a "Motion Control Sensor" translating your convulsions into mobile gaming commands to the amusement of those around you. Not just ugly. but too long for any head other than Mr. Ed...or maybe Bob Sapp's.
But what I don't understand is why Vodafone JP is getting these "great" or at least new handsets from Sharp and Toshiba, but are just releasing the Nokia 6680 later this year. The N70 is the successor to the 6680 line and it's already been released.

The last Nokia Vodafone Japan tried to sell sold like a wet sack of potatoes, the Japanese expect more than Nokia :P.

I'd buy one. I think the design is cool. Not only is the 3.2 MP camera a suprise, Analogue TV? It also records from TV too! I wonder what format, though...
