Sprint updates VRS video sign-language translation

All too often, disabled people unfortunately get the short end of the stick when it comes to accessible technologies or services, so it's nice to see a free, full-featured sign-language-to-voice translation service for the deaf that uses videoconferencing to communicate gestures between user and translator. Earlier this month, Sprint rolled out an updated version of its Video Relay Service that supports additional operating systems and browsers and now runs a full 24-hours-a-day. In addition to English translation, Spanish service is also available (but only at selected times), as is support for videophones and written transcripts of your convos.
