Cellphones are dangerous/not dangerous, chapter 8,042
"Yeah, Dutch Health Council here, just checking in to let everyone know that our Electromagnetic Fields Committee
has pored over two years of research from the Dutch TNO and the world over, and, um, according to us, we've determined
that the data regarding possible harm caused by cellphone-emitted radiation is either inconclusive or did not meet
scientific criteria. So, looks like that's that, no reason to continue research in this area, we can all get on with
our lives; game on everyone. You heard us, shoo!"

I think this smells fishy. In 2004 the same research institution "TNO" concluded that there was a significant relationship between the presence of E.M. Waves from UMTS antennas and the welbeing of people (ok..doens't mean that that should cause any physical harm). And some people were not very happy with this conclusion...guess why? The Dutch government has made a lot of money by auctioning off the frequency bands used for UMTS...what if they have to pay this back when there would be a significant relationship with some diseases? A lot off people are resisting against placement of these antennas over here...shouldn't they give us the feeling they are treating it with care?

YA RIGHT! I've been using a cell phone since I was 11 and I definetly have a brain tumor. All these studies are so stupid, try it on a kid and watch what happens. They have less body mass per gram and they'd most likely suffer from a greater SAR rating...

Yeah, you can sue here in Holland but you ain't gonna get the mega-million kind of rewards people get in the US when government or corporations are found guilty of harmful neglect... You'll be lucky if you come out with a few thousands euros AND don't forget you'll have to give half of it to the government in taxes! Yes, you heard that right, 50 percent!!!

well, we've know this for some time now. The only reason they keep looking for something dangerous is because of fear-mongering of the media (and in the US in general), and political nuts who want's to "take action and commision some research!"
There is much more electromagnetic danger in standing near the microwave, watch TV og using your hairdryer - but that's not nearly as spectacular...

Why must you always use the same picture of Hitler?
