Wurlitzer's One More Time iPod jukebox "dock"
We've seen countless iPod docks
populate these pages, but our new favorite definitely has to be the $9500 One More Time jukebox by Wurlitzer. In
addition to playing 100 CDs through the integrated Bose sound system, you can more than quintuple the number of tracks
by adding up to a 60GB 'Pod to the rotation. Expect to see this retro number at the next reader meetup, which due to
our acquisition of the Wurlitzer will also be known as the First Monthly Engadget Sock Hop.

You know, this is a cool idea, but can you imagine going up to a jukebox and shuffling through the songs on an Ipod? The whole point to a jukebox is to watch the pages flip and view the album's "art". I am sure they could do a lot of things with this, but if you are going to do this, then they should just come out with a jukebox that is connected to the Internet. When you put money in it will go and download the song for you.

Ryan, bars in Mi already have something similar, deposit cash, pick song, blam... on in bar.
Whet they need to do is keep the old school desigh, but slap color e-paper (it's my dream, I'll design it...) in place where the flip book used to be and have all the cover art and track info on e-paper.

I've always envisioned a jukebox that would combine this product with a downloadable music service. It would allow people to dock their ipods to the jukebox and download music from it to their pod.

Shame about the bose speakers, but I guess they must feel that this will help sales among the older people that will have the sort of money to throw around on this for the style rather then sound quality.
