Majesco has announced it will release a Nacho Libre wrestling title for the Nintendo DS. The title will be developed by Budcat Creations, who did a pretty good PS2 port of Psychonauts (albeit the load times are abysmal). Majesco is promising ten playable characters, four-player gaming (not through Nintendo WiFi), and touch-screen minigames.

Nacho Libre came out in theatres today to a mixed (yet mostly negative) critical response. From the trailers, I'd conjecture that the only people who will enjoy this movie also think it is incredibly funny to excessively quote Napoleon Dynamite ad infinitum.

In January of 2006, Majesco announced that it would be focusing only on handheld games.
