Updated SpyderTV calibration tool coming to IFA
The SpyderTV tends to be the pro-sumer calibration tool of choice. For nearly the same cost as a professional calibration, a person could pick up this tool and calibrate their display themselves. It does most of the work for you but it still isn't going to match the experiences or knowledge that an ISF certified technician possesses. Both the standard and pro versions has been retooled though and is going to be presented in a few days at IFA. (same place Blu-ray is holding their press conference) We don't have any information on what has been updated just yet but we do know the price for the Pro version has been raised to £406 ($767 USD) rather then the current price of $599.
