Asus partners with Lamborghini on notebook series

Add another to the long and illustrious list of luxury car-themed laptops in Asus's new Lamborghini Notebook Series, the result of a partnership between the computer and automotive companies. The press release provides an overdose of flowery marketing lingo on quality, performance, speed, power, blah blah blah -- but is incredibly short on details pending its "official debut" tomorow. We do know the Lamborghini Notebook Series will be available in yellow and black, though, and we all know that in this world it's what outside that counts.

Not sure about that big @ss TV remote but at first glance this thing is very easy on the eyes. Still not a MAC though :) -
ONE DAY YOU TOO WILL BOW DOWN... HA HA HA HA HA!
Do people buy these themed laptops? I mean, everyone knows a spongebob laptop would sell well. Or is Asus just getting a big check.
y the heck didnt they stretch the wallpaper?
I hate those its stull not a mac comments its better. and asus used to actually make the mac powerbooks i believe they even had a hand is designing them
Surely these themed laptops cheapen the Ferrari and Lamborghini brands somewhat? It's a shame they don't even look nice...
i just...don't...get it. why? Why? Celebrity-themed music players only have magical powers in Japan, and at least singers have some memetic connection to music players. Boutique car manufacturer-themed laptops are even more embarassing than boutique car manufacturer-themed Polo shirts, at 100x the price.
It may have a Lambo badge, but it's still a just an Asus.
What next? Are Lambo going to make a Asus themed car; a Toyota-Corolla-like car with an Asus badge?
Talk about trashing your brand name.
Unlike the Lamborghini automobile, in a few short years this laptop will be considered slow.
The first Lamborghini car, 1963 350 GTV = top speed of 174 MPH.
In a few years Asus could be the 8 track player of the auto and computer industry.
