HDTV Listings for January 12, 2006

What we're watching:

Will the new Thursday night line-up thrive for NBC? That's our question and that's what we'll be watching tonight starting at 8 p.m. in 1080i. First up is a live episode of "Will & Grace", which is a can't miss since we'll all be watching for any goof-ups in high-def. "Four Kings" looks intriguing and funny so far, but will the magic last or will this become "Four Jokers" at 8:30 p.m.? The newest shows in the lineup are already fan favorites, so we don't even have to recommend "My Name is Earl" and "The Office", but we will anyway.

If the Thursday night comedy gets old, hop on over to HDNet Movies at 9:15 p.m. for "Clear and Present Danger" with Harrison Ford; just about any Tom Clancy movie looks and sounds great in HD.
