Willcom's new WX310J biz phone with fingerprint scanner
For your secure yet fashionable needs, Japanese Radio has a new phone for Japanese mobile provider Willcom, the WX310J, which includes a fingerprint scanner for use with your PC or for securing your handset. There is a miniSD card slot, but no camera to feed it, and few other details on the handset, other than the business centric e-mail capabilities and a 0.65-inch thickness to the body. It should be available now in Japan, for about $220 USD, but we shouldn't plan on seeing this looker around these parts anytime soon.

That thing looks like it's frickin' huge! Or it just has tiny buttons.

The key's are tiny. The dimensions are slightly longer (about 4 mm) than a Nokia 6680, and a mm thinner. The display is larger, but I haven't seen a working model to judge how it looks.
What's interesting, is that this phone has no camera.
Oh, and it's a PHS phone, so yes, it will never make it to the US. Though, Taiwan and Thailand have a shot at getting it.
