Quixun's FullHD LCD is bashed quixly
Glad to see that other folks understand the upcoming need for HDMI due to HDCP. Akihabara rips the new Quixun 42-inch LCD monitor right out of the gate for providing 1920 x 1080 res, but no real way to get a 1080i signal to it. The 1,700 Euro monitor doesn't include a tuner and you have no way to connect a next-gen DVD player without seriously compromising the signal quality. We could tell you about the 800:1 contrast and 12ms response, but does it really matter now?
