Rumor roundup: more than one PS3 SKU
The latest gossip has been quite potent regarding the PS3 launch and availability. Word on the street has it that we should expect two different version of the PlayStation 3: a $399 edition and a whopping $599 megaversion. Unlike the Xbox 360 implementation of this, an included hard drive is not mentioned. Instead, the major difference is said to be between their ability to play Blu-ray movies and not.
Of course, this is only speculation after all. I'd take this with a grain of salt until we hear something official.
