Devolution: dancing, robots, dancing robots
We've never
been quite so hot with the dance moves, so it's good to know there are some synthetic replacements out there to fill
the void. These little bots, a creation of Louis-Philippe Demers, even mix it up with some carbon based lifeforms
in an Australian Dance Theatre art dance production titled Devolution. There's some esoteric "men are machines,
machines are organic" type of stuff going on, but we're just glad to see some robots showing a sensitive side and will leave it at that.

Something about that picture makes me uncomfortable.

I dont care what they come up, the dancing humanoid robot covered with silver paint in the middle of the park can out dance any robot!

Had the same general queasiness for the arminess of the photo. It took me a minute but then I saw he's not standing behind a counter full of these, he's sitting on the floor "mingling" with them, and the really big, hairy, mismatched arm is actually just a big, hairy leg . . . still queasy, though.
