New M5, A6 and A7 business laptops from Toshiba
Toshiba is busting out some new business-centric lapsters with Core Duo and Solo processors. The new Centrino chipset is the main feature here, the Tecra A6 and A7 notebooks sport 14.1 and 15.4-inch displays at 1280x800 resolution, integrated Intel graphics for the A6 with your choice of integrated or NVIDIA acceleration for the A7, and 5400 RPM SATA drives, with prices ranging from $1149 to $1399. The Core Duo M5-S433 goes for $1799 and includes a piddling 14.1-inch 1024x768 display, but at least it's powered by an NVIDIA Quadro 128MB graphics card. You can also augment the included 100GB SATA drive with a 80GB HDD instead of the standard DVD burner. All of the laptops include HDD shock protection, fingerprint readers, and the usual a/b/g WiFi included with Centrino.
