VK Mobile's VK 5000 to be the smallest ever EDGE handset?
Who knows what kind of stuff VK Mobile's gonna be showing off next week, but AVing apparently has it that their new VK 5000 handset will be the smallest EDGE handset around. We're a little wary of the size they quote, being 91 x 50 x 9.8mm (3.58 x 1.96 x 0.38-inches), but if the VK 5000 really is that diminutive then props be to VK Mobile -- they did, afterall, pull off that 8.8mm thick X100 (right). The VK 5000 should supposedly be outfitted with a 262k color display, MPEG-4 and H.263 playback, a 1.3 megapixel camera with flash, and Bluetooth. Guess we'll all see for ourselves next week.
