New Mobile division for Vivendi Universal Games
Vivendi Universal Games -- those friendly chaps who pay the checks of the friendly chaps behind games like F.E.A.R. and Warcraft -- have launched a new mobile division, Vivendi Universal Games Mobile. They only have Empire Earth Mobile and SWAT Force available so far, but promise around a dozen games in 2006, from the simple to the 3D shooters. Head of the division, Paul Maglione, notes that "3-D seems to be growing faster than people anticipated because, as cell phone users trade up, their new handsets almost always have 3-D capabilities. So even if someone doesn’t particularly want 3-D, they get it." Now why can't they do that with 3G?
