Say goodbye to ActiveSync in Vista

Hope you're not too attached to ActiveSync as you now know it, according to brighthand, AS will be undergoing some changes when Vista rolls around sometime later this decade. Most notably, it'll be redubbed Windows Mobile Device Center (ok, makes sense) and go through a UI change "in an effort to enhance your ability to easily and intuitively find device-related tasks and improve the overall usability of those tasks." We can dig that; ActiveSync, while relatively lightweight, isn't entirely intuitive. We'll keep you abreast on screenshots as they make their way out.
