Sign of the times: Sony's Universal Digital Remote RM-V310

This rather suprised me. I was walking through one of my favorite electronic stores and noticed this. Sony has a new remote (RM-V310) out that incorperates a digital/analog button along with a "point" button. The compatablity list for the digital tuners is short with only six manufactures. There are some notable manufactures missing though like Samsung and Zenith but other then those seem to be complete.

There is going to be a huge market for these eventually. Right now many of you still have the remote that came with your digital set-top box but it will not be long before they make their way to the big black hole in couch.
