OMNIZERO.2 trounces at Robo-One
You think we're done with the OMNIZERO.2 at the Tokyo Robo-One competition?
Well, we could put it away and wait until next year, but when we got the video of O.2 taking on and taking out some
other robots in the battle competition, you know we had to share it. From what we can tell it's kind of like mech-sumo
-- they're more trying to skillfully fall on one another than anything else, but it's still a sight to behold,
especially O.2's victory gloat.

The youtube link above is the same robot but it's not the one where he's kicking robot butt. This link is the right video. I know because The Raw Feed got the story from my blog post!

the one where he grabs that robot from behind and takes him down is BA.

And when they grab you their metal claws you won't be able to get away; because robots are strong.

Can robo-sex be far behind?...

I thought we were talking about robots that battled on their own, but from the looks of it these are just remote controlled robots. Can't get too excited about that.

I don't think you want robots that fight on their own; could you imagine a swarm of those little red guys chasing after you trying to grab your leg and dive onto your feet!?

Sounds like the day of our robot overlords isn't far off.

#9, It is pretty exciting, because the remote-controlled robots people are used to seeing are little boxes or discs that roll around. You're right, though that AI would be a great addition to that sort of competition.

I for one... ahhh fuq it.

Simon,
Copying videos from websites that you don't own without the permission of the owner is not something to brag about publically.
And, you got your facts wrong. Omnizero.2 did not win the Robo-One 9 contest. It got the highest score during the qualifying phase, but lost during the battles in the ring. The robot-fan.net site where you got the video has that information in Japanese.
