Samsung's nano-esque
YP-Z5 (you know,
the one designed by a former Apple employee) is barely out the door, and Samsung already has an upgrade in the works.
The YP-Z5F doesn't break any major new ground, but it does add two features that were lacking in the earlier model but
are fairly standard in most other (non-Apple) audio players: an FM radio and voice recorder. It also comes in a
sort-of-pinkish color, if you're into that. No word on pricing or release dates, though we'd like to see Samsung
finally get the
1GB Z5 out
the door first.

Looks nice, but if you're looking for a no-frills DAP...
SanDisk Sansa e130 512mb = $55
+ 1 Gb SD card = $30
= $85 for 1.5gb flash dap
+ fm radio (no voice recorder)
+ memory expansion
Sound quality reviews of e130 are mixed, but it sounds as good as any other DAP I've heard.

I don't think this will get anywhere considering that it's pink, and of course it will have to be fatter

** Does ANYONE know the reasoning behind Apple * NOT * adding another model with an FM tuner. Seems so obvious to offer this as an optional model!!

Well like they 'invented' random play with the ipod shuffle, they are awaiting the right moment to strike the market with the fabulous iPod: Radio! Yes! Play radio, only on an ipod - consumers will got mad for this fabulously new state of the art mp3 player with such a cutting edge function! Of course, what sets it apart for 'inferior' products on the market will be a hefty price tag, the old itunes ball and chain and those all so cool white ear buds!

Now there is a vibrator that connects to your music player. Turn on your favorite song and let the vibrate your "Stairway to Heaven." The iBuzz vibrates in time to your music. That's progress!

Think this is a great gadget to steer away from the whole ipod obsession.
The black version of this nifty little beauty is absolutely gorgeous. It goes one-up from the ipod nano with more functions and I love the in-built radio.
Lovely huge screen, structured lines (especially with its navigating pad), great surround sound pumping, and I'm rather proud of it when I pull it from my gym pouch cause it's so sleek.
