Alone in the Dark staging a comeback

Not even Uwe Boll could destroy this franchise. Despite a long period of absence (abysmal theatrical run notwithstanding), 1up is reporting that Alone in the Dark will rear its head on next-generation consoles very soon. Not much is currently known about the title, except that you will reprise the role of Edward Carnby and investigate Central Park.

The title is currently in development at Eden Studios. Said director David Naval, they hope to "challenge the feeling of security and make these elements horrific." Unfortunately, we have to wait for the new Electronic Gaming Monthly to know more. The previous installment, Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare, was released in 2001.
