Woodi CA-C360 MP3 player
What do you get when you release
an irked rodent onto a keyboard? Why, the randomly named Woodi
CA-C360 MP3 player of course. This 39.6 x 54.4 x 11.6-millimeter player, while featuring a clean design is just another
regular ol' MP3/WMA player with 1.8-inch 65k color LCD, FM tuner, voice recorder, line-in recording, and image viewer
available in capacities from 256MB to 1GB. Woodi, they ask? Probably, not.

is that a Woodi in your pocket, or did you just buy a really big portable media player?
Wood Potential @ Apr 13th 2006 9:45AM
I can just hear the commercials now..."Got Wood?". I wonder if Tiger Woods is available to earn an extra $10 million dollars to endorse another product that he doesn't really use? Can you say Buick?
TZK @ Apr 13th 2006 9:55AM
Im still trying to understand why there is a post about a product you don't like, dont care about, and would never buy.
Oh, because it's a slow news week! :-P

Looks nice, wish they had more information in English though. Nice and small player, smooth design. I am glad to see they didn't try and go with a touch wheel type control... ;) I'd get one! or two!

"educated consumer would be an 'apple fanboy' if he really was educated, microsoft slaveboy"
That should read, "educated consumer would be an 'apple fanboy' if he really WERE educated, microsoft slaveboy."

This is going to dominate in the marketplace within a year. Why? Look at that, in big calming letters: DIGITAL MULTIMEDIA DEVICE. That answers 3 questions for the average idiot out there...
1. is it digital?
2. will it handle multiple forms of media?
3. is it a device?
20 questions will never be the same.

1 - What does this GIANT thing do, that the much, much smaller iRiver U10 doesn't?
2 - The *Woodi* name comes from the physical condition one incurs when looking at pr0n with device's image viewer.

Their tagline would be simple and memorable: "I'm getting a Woodi!"
daschupa @ Apr 13th 2006 5:04PM
I like the visible screws, very elegant.

I can hear the conversations already....
"Hey don't touch my Woodi!"
"If I show you my Woodi will you show me yours?"
"My parents won't let me get a Woodi"
"I got busted for playing with my Woodi in class"
"My Woodi is pretty cool, but I wish I had a bigger one"
"Mom, xxxxx won't let go of my Woodi!"
