Axion's dual screen portable DVD player

When you've got two kids screaming and kicking in the back seat of the car trying to share a single portable DVD player, you might as well not have one at all. Enter Axion's new AXN-6079 dual 7-inch screen portable DVD player, capable of accepting a video-in for in-car gameplay, or good for just splitting the screen two ways for your little brats darlings who haven't yet learned to play nice and share. We're pretty sure, however, these things aren't wireless, so if you're cable-phobic, be forewarned before plunking down your $230 when they're available at some point this month.

How about just buying two units for $100 bucks each and use the $30 saved for DVDs or use it to by a multi-tap for the accessory plug (cigarette lighter)? Separate volumes different movies what's not to like?

I have the kawasaki with one dvd drive and two screens, but it has A/V in so I can hook up my PS2 while someone else watches a movie on the other screen. only around 200 bucks at target.

I Never saw an in-car DVD player that can also play DivX, Xvid files burned to DVD. If a player like that exists and it's sub-$500 I'd buy one in a heart beat.

This is a cool looking portable dvd player. Seems to me it look like a tablet laptop more than a player.

The slim design,rounded corner and light weight is a sure killer.
