HDTV coming to KARE 11 out of Minnesota
Welcome to the party KARE 11! This Minnesota based station is set to become the first high-def local news program in the state. Cool. The changeover will take place this Thursday for the 5 p.m. news. But this NBC affiliate didn't just upgrade their cameras. Oh no! They even built their first new set in over 15 years for this. This station has gone all out for this upgrade. Check this out.
They have shot an entire show in HD that is a visual celebration of the three great rivers that helped to define Minnesota called, "Rolling on Three Rivers." This is going to air tonight at 9 p.m. on KARE 11. If any of our readers in the land of 10,000 rivers lakes plan on watching this, let us know how it was. It sounds kind of cool.
