Sharp might be prepping tenth generation LCD production

Just when you thought Sony and Samsung were on the ball with their fancy, new 8th generation plant, here come the massive Sharp AQUOS giant. There are reports that Sharp is eying tenth generation plants. This would mean that the new plant would be able to create gigantic glass substrates that could be made into eight 57-inch panels or six 65-inchers. This is still a ways off, like two or three years, but it is still kind of neat to look into the future per say. There is even a chance that they will not build the plant as it might not prove to be profitable.
