Warner announces a few new HD DVD titles
Warner just keeps on pumping out their HD DVD titles. This time around they are announcing Caddyshack and The Searchers with an August 22 release date. Hey, we didn't say that they were new movies or even, high-quality ones, but more high-def content is better then none. These titles are going to be presented in 1.78:1 widescreen at a 1080p resolution. Caddyshack is going to have a Dobly Digital-Plus 5.1 surround track, but you are going to have to enjoy John Wayne in the original 1.0 mono audio; might as well just turn off the audio system for this one and save the power bill. Warner also, put a release date on Good Night, Good Luck, which you might remember was delayed for some unknown reason. Well, we still don't have a reason but it is going to be release along with these other two title on August 22.
