Capcom offers DIY fixes for Dead Rising text issues
Capcom, while aware of the issues players are having reading Dead Rising's text on a standard definition television, have not promised a patch. Instead, they gave 1UP the following makeshift fixes to help you read the text:
Adjust the settings on your TV or monitor
Try using component cables instead of standard composite
Setting the TV to widescreen ratio (even though you may not have a widescreen TV) may help in some cases
... are you kidding us? The company in the past has been good with the quality control. We're surprised they didn't test the gore fest on a standard definition set, but we'd be surprised if the developer wasn't scrambling to make an update. Don't let us down, Capcom.
