So
20,000 posts later and we were sitting around the water-cooler this morning having a navel-gazing moment, wondering what you, our dear, beloved reader think about Engadget -- and how you think we could do a better job. Then we figured what the hell, we might as well just ask! Shoot us an email at
focus at engadget dawt com letting us know you're interested in becoming a part of our first ever Engadget focus group, and we'll randomly select some amount of readers and send you guys a little email questionnaire. (Oh, and for reference, any questions answered are for our own edification -- we won't be selling the info or anything weird and lame like that.) Thanks everybody, love ya!
simply put: wow, didn't realize you guys were around for that long already to get to the 20k mark. And didn't realize i've been hanging around here already for about 19.950 posts. Amazing!
When posts gets very long, it would be great if you had a number base so we can jump through the pages faster, instead of the way it is right now (click on next 50).
Hey there,
thats seems arelaly good idea. Would surely drop a line. RIgth now working on the commercial contest fro your guys. Surely would love to write in be a lucky part of your next idea.
1> Email notification of new postings of a particular given interest
2> Community ratings of comments, with the top two or three comments being included at the end of each post on the home page
3> A little more background on each of the writers... Ideally available by clicking on the name. This would give some critical info on the writer's perspective.
Thanks for the suggestions guys, but it'd really help if you gave it to us in the group! Thanks!
Best, Ryan
