Creative Travel Sound PoPz P30
We never got too much into the whole portable speakers thing (which might be why we were so wholly unenthused by the K5), but we're always down for a game of find-the-camouflaged gadget. Today's subject: an odd teardrop shaped pouch which might look like it carries CDs (or UMDs), but actually splits open to reveal a pair of Creative speakers. It's their Travel Sound PoPz P30 travel speakers, which are being sold in japan for ¥3,980 (about $35), and do actually look kind of fun in that whole moth disguised as an owl kind of way.

not bad i'd get them if the price was a little lower like 25 maybe. im guessing they are powered speakers or are they not idk..
Looks pretty cool. Will wait for reviews, I guess.
Hmm, sort of the same idea as the speakers made for ipod. Apple ought to sew em. Fuck creative
Apple doesn't make portable speakers for the iPod idiot.
hello people the iPod Hi-Fi
hey ian we are talking about portable speakers... last time i checked the hi-fi aint portatble
@Mini-Me, Matt:
Yes, the APPLE iPod Hi-Fi is portable: it runs on 8 D-cells. Why do you think it has those huge handles? Third party accessory-makers even make cases for the system.

next time you see some one with a hi-fi cliped to their keychain or bag tell me cause thats what i call portable.
gunifer
im a little confused by that? i love apple but ok? and the hi-fi is not PORTABLE
@ccutlip
Hmm... my case has a handle on the top, therefore, by your standards, it's portable! Thanks for the help! I'll just tape some batteries and whatever else I need to the side and I'll be on my way.

well said
I love my new Mac Pro. It's ULTRA-portable, because it has, wait for it... 4! handles :D
Ryan, Anyone? What's going on with comments. I use this blog as an paradigm in a class I teach, but this is more like MTV or shoddier. Stop this and enforce the gridlines to keep comments on topic. Personal threats and childish actions will alienate loyal supporters.
It looks like a testicle, that was my first thought.
That's just like this one:
the Archos Sound Case.
Only you don't have to open it.
Hmm... link didn't show up. Whoops, maybe I should learn to read directions.
