Treo 750 passes FCC muster
We don't need to tell you what it means when the Treo 750 passes FCC muster, nor do we need to explain to you what carrier on which to expect it. All you need to know is that whenever you see that confidentiality agreement slide by and that FCC ID label plastered up, you know it won't be long until you'll be holding one in your hands -- if you love Treos, anyway.

I just got my unlocked Vodaphone Treo today and all I can say is WOW! I have used every HTC device starting with the original XDA and this what I have been wanting since the first day I picked up an WM device.
The keyboard is a tad small but easily able to get used to it, CPU is decent, storage is good. I have a few apps on it as well as one map for iGuidance till my Mini-SD comes in.
Haven't tried UMTS yet with it but going to New Orleans this weekend and can't wait to try it out. I used HSDPA with the TyTn and it killed the battery in no time so hoping the same isn't the case for this one.

Where's the BT 2.0, Palm? And WiFi? Get with the program. Those are both mandatory for me to switch to Windows Mobile. Otherwise I'm sticking with my 650.

I've got my hands on one too (Vodafone, UK) and I have to say, it sucks! It's smaller and lighter than the 'V1605' (HTC TyTN) but feels very cheap and 'Treo-y'
It's smallish, but the buttons are too, and the Square screen is nasty.
Maybe I'm just a smartphone basher, personally, I prefer my candy bars!

Had my 750 for about 3 weeks now; my 650 has now been demoted to second phone. Its my first foray into windows mobile; having been a stalwart palm / symbian user. I would say that windows mobile crashes 2 x as often as palm and about the same as a symbian 9x00 series do.
I love the smaller form factor; it feels much better in teh hand than teh 650. My only realy problem it is that the taper along the back of the device from the antenna to the keyboard. The taper means that if you hold it in two hands to thumb type the device bounces up and down in your hands as you use it. The straight thickness of the 650 prevented that.

Its Going to Cingular Wireless
Steve Packard @ Nov 9th 2006 11:48PM
Wow! Now you can use it with Cingular High Speed! This will work great in UMTS cells (BOTH OF THEM)... So if you live in one of the few UMTS/HSDPA cities...and never leave the city...and never go to the outskirts of the city...
Then you can enjoy highspeed all you want!

DID ANYONE ELSE HAPPEN TO NOTICE THIS PARTICULAR PICTURE IS FRAUDULENT, OR THE FCC CAN'T SPELL "COMPLIANT" MAYBE I'M THE IDIOT IF THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE A FAKE FCC STICKER, BUT STILL, IT'S NOT THAT HARD TO SPELL COMPLIANT

Good eye!
Just read article from Market Watch. Treo 750 will not be in the U.S. until 1st quarter next year 2007... January or February!
