Nintendo: Virtual Console games "have not been changed"

Nintendo confirmed exact replicas of all Virtual Console titles in an interview with CVG noting that original games "have not been changed" for Wii. From the interview: "All [Virtual Console] games will be faithful recreations of the original versions in all areas, including content, movement and expressions, so they will not feature new functions like multiplayer or internet play if the original title did not."

So for $5-10 per old game, expect no changes in "principle programmer," character design, sound, graphics, or gameplay modes. That's like charging a buck for a less than CD-quality music download...
